WILMINGTON, Mass. — It’s a trade that no general manager would make, but for now the Bruins have to deal with it.
Daniel Paille returned to practice today, while, as expected Zdeno Chara did not take the ice during practice at Ristuccia Arena. Gregory Campbell also did not skate, so expect an update on him later.
Paille suffered a mild concussion last Thursday against Florida and did not travel with the team to Columbus for Saturday night’s victory. Campbell was shaken up on a play in the first period against the Blue Jackets and was favoring his left leg. But he returned to the game and played throughout.
Chara is widely believed to be out at least a week with a leg injury, although the Bruins are calling it lower-body and classifying him as day-to-day.
