The disappointing loss to Vancouver aside, the Bruins still had a productive week last week.
They blew away New Jersey & Calgary by a combined score of 15-1. Had they exercised a little more discipline against the Canucks, the Bruins could be looking at another mini winning streak.
Instead, they’ll look to bounce back and get another streak going.
Individually there were some great performances last week. Center Patrice Bergeron continued his great year with 4-2-6 totals and a plus-6 rating in the three games. He was credited with nine shots on net and he won 29 of 48 faceoffs (60 percent).
The battle to be classified as the Bruins’ No. 1 center continued last week, with David Krejci keeping pace with Bergeron to the tune of 3-3-6 totals and a plus-5 rating. His assist against New Jersey set up Nathan Horton’s game-winner. Krejci won 30 of 45 faceoffs (67 percent) and fired eight shots on goal.
Defenseman Dennis Seidenberg’s not known for his offense, but he accumulated three assists and fired five shots on goal. His plus-7 rating was solid and he blocked six shots.
If the sophomore slump was starting to catch up to Tyler Seguin, he pushed it back with 1-4-5 totals and a plus-5 rating. His goal against Calgary was a game-winner and he fired 11 shots on net.
So readers of TheBruinsBlog.net, I ask you:

- David Krejci (17%, 18 Votes)
- Tyler Seguin (12%, 12 Votes)
- Dennis Seidenberg (5%, 5 Votes)

Krejci all the way–as he is starting to really heat up. Besides, Bergy has been good all year, so I will hold that against him (hee-hee!).
I vote Bergeron, although that partially personal bias and Krejci is right up there with him.
