McQuaid joins Horton among Bruins’ missing

McQuaid/By S. Bradley
WILMINGTON, Mass. — The Bruins will continue their three-game homestand tomorrow night against Carolina, so they practiced today at Ristuccia Arena.
Defenseman Adam McQuaid was missing, as was concussed forward Nathan Hor+ton. McQuaid logged 14:39 of ice time in the win over Ottawa Tuesday night.
After practice head coach Claude Julien said McQuaid caught a rut in the ice against the Senators in the third period. He will be re-evaluated before his status for Thursday night will be determined. As for Horton, he’s improving but is still not ready to get back to skating.
Today is the last day before Andrew Ference makes his return to the lineup from his three-game suspension. So if McQuaid can’t play, the Bruins will have another defenseman at their disposal.
Cormac: LOL. I hate Burke and Wilson…they’re such pompous a-holes

I think McQuaid has bruised knuckles from his fight with Konopka. That’s the way it looked when he was in the box. Hopefully, its not a break.
Hamill, Kelly and Pouliot played terrific(especially Pouliot) last night. Missing those early opportunities set up by Seguin was unfortunate.
What can you say about Marchand’s tying goal, except,…WOOHOO!
