Ference & McQuaid/By S. Bradley
BOSTON — The Bruins’ defense corps should be at full strength tonight when Boston hosts Carolina at the TD Garden.
Andrew Ference is scheduled to be back from his three-game suspension, while Adam McQuaid seems healthy after missing practice Wednesday. McQuaid caught a rut in the third period of Boston’s win Tuesday night, but said he felt fine this morning after the Bruins’ pregame skate.
Ference and McQuaid should form Boston’s third pair against the Hurricanes. Carolina will have Jaroslav Spacek back from a head injury but will be missing Chad LaRose, who stayed home due to the flu.
Cam Ward will get the start for Carolina. Boston’s goaltending decision won’t be revealed until the team’s take the ice for pregame warm-ups.

Timmy has been letting some bad ones in lately. But he’ll get it back together. Tuukka I believe will be starting tonight. I don’t think he has started the other 3 matches vs the Canes so maybe a change in that respect will turn our fate.
I’m with PCL on Kampfer he just does not have any goods we can use at this time. I would also like to see Tukka get some more time. Nothing against Timmy but those back to back identical goals against him by Ottawa ah he might need some time off.
It’s a hard thing for me to say, but I’ll be glad to see Kampfer out of the lineup tonight. Kid just isn’t up to par right now. Send him down, he needs to play more.
Should be an exciting game against the team that the B’s struggle most against. Wasn’t really expecting that team to be the Canes this year, but it is what it is…
Sounds like Horton is not doing to well, Julien said he still has headaches without even trying an off-ice workout.
