Zanon

WILMINGTON, Mass. — In search of their first goal since Saturday, the Bruins got back to work with a practice this morning at Ristuccia Arena.

One guy who probably won’t help the Bruins in the offense department but still might be a key play down the stretch and into the playoffs, Greg Zanon, joined the team for the first time on the ice.

Zanon, acquired Monday from Minnesota, arrived in Boston late Tuesday morning and watched the Bruins’ 1-0 loss to Ottawa from the press box. The Bruins’ practice lines remained the same and all healthy players — which means everyone but Johnny Boychuk, Rick Peverley and Nathan Horton — were on the ice.

Max Sauve wasn’t on the ice, so he was obviously re-assigned to Providence (AHL).
