Bergeron/By S. Bradley
WILMINGTON, Mass. — Bruins center Patrice Bergeron did not practice today at Ristuccia Arena.
He was the only player missing, as Jordan Caron filled in on Bergeron’s line with Rich Peverley moving over the center.
Bergeron has been battling through an injury from Game 5 Saturday that forced him to leave for a time during the second period. He played in Game 6 Sunday but only took one third-period faceoff. The Bruins have not revealed Bergeron’s injury.
Shawn Thornton, a healthy scratch for Game 6, was back in his rightful place alongside Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille.
Rookie defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk, who took the warmup in Washington Sunday, practiced as well. Bodnarchuk skated on a pair Joe Corvo, which might indicate the Bruins will use a Greg Zanon-Mike Mottau third pair in Game 7.

Ha Ha. I am from V and I have been hoping for a Washington victory. So bully cheating hockey doesn’t win games after all. I am just as happy Chicago is out after that playoff intended hit by Keith on Sedin. What goes arou d comes around. Play the game within the rules from whistle to whistle that wins games.
I’m with Sandenn; separated shoulder. Watch the hit again.
With his inability to take the draws and from the hits he sustained it is likely a separated shoulder. But he’ll be fine.
Any speculation on what the Bergeron injury is?
My best guess is a broken rib, but who the hell knows
Claude says that Bergy’s in for game 7, Nick. To paraphrase, he said , “I don’t know how much clearer I can be, he’s in.” Going to need a huge effort from everybody!

I can’t imagine Bergy not being out there for this one but if he isn’t, the boys are really going to have to step it up. Get well Bergy. I getting stomach pains thinking about this game already.
P.S. Please don’t let Corvo find the ice.
