The Bruins today announced some key dates for the outset of the 2012-13 season, including that rookie camp is set to open Sept. 14  in Wilmington, Mass.

Boston also announced that main training camp will open a week later on Sept. 21 and the team is scheduled to play seven preseason games.

Of course, this is all predicated on their being no work stoppage. The Collective Bargaining Agreement is set to expire Sept. 15 and there have been no talks between the owners and players association reported.
