Hamilton/By S. Bradley
A little earlier than in past summers the Bruins’ top prospects and some invitees will be in Wilmington, Mass. starting Thursday for the team’s annual development camp at Ristuccia Arena.
The camp will run through Monday July 2.
Top prospect Dougie Hamilton, who was the Bruins’ 2011 first-round pick, 2012 first-round pick Malcolm Subban and defenseman Torey Krug, who will hold the distinction of the first development camper with NHL game experience, headline the roster for this year’s camp. As usual, the players will go through on- and off-ice activities. There will be plenty of power skating and a couple scrimmages toward the end of camp.
Here’s a look at the complete roster as released today:
Forwards: Darik Angeli, Anthony Camara, Colin Campbell, Daniel Carr, Justin Courtnall, Brian Ferlin, Justin Florek, Seth Griffith, Colton Hargrove, Alex Khokhlachev, Jared Knight, Cody Payne, Ben Sexton, Wayne Simpson, Ryan Spooner
Defensemen: Matt Benning, Chris Casto, Tommy Cross, Matthew Grzelcyk, Dougie Hamilton, Torey Krug, Robbie O’Gara, Zach Trotman
Goaltenders: Zane Gothberg, Parker Milner, Adam Morrison, Malcolm Subban, Niklas Svedberg, Lars Volden

is rookie training camp open to the public?
George-
You’re probably right. I’m think top-9 forward. Maybe someone older, or someone other teams have given up on like Pouliot.

BTW MattK, does Carnac have a prediction about the Bruins I adding a free agent? I highly doubt Parise, Suter, or Semin etc. walk through the door. My guess is a one year deal for an older player, and the Chris Bourque gets a long look preseason after leading the AHL in points last year to see if there is any way he can finally make the jump up.
I read a report that Khohklachev is heading to the KHL
