The NHL today announced the cancellation of all preseason games through Sept. 30.
That means the Bruins games Sept. 25 at Washington, Sept. 26 at Buffalo, Sept. 29 against Winnipeg in Saskatoon and Sept. 30 in Winnipeg will not be played.
Right now, the players are locked out indefinitely with no talks reportedly scheduled between the NHL and the NHLPA.

Ok, I’ve fixed commenting on the blog link I posted, so anyone should be able to comment now (if there is any interest). I haven’t written anything, but I’ve set up automatic postings for the Broons next few games if people want to discus. Hopefully we can keep this community alive.

Hey Guys,
I’ve really enjoyed the conversations on here, and I think the contrasting opinions are a sign of true hockey fans, so I’ve set up a random blog so we can share thoughts about hockey. I guess Matt isn’t going to keep updating this blog (although good luck to him), but I just thought everyone could use a place to discuss good hockey.
As of right now it’s allowing comments from google ID’s only, but I’ll try to improve.

Hope everyone made it through Nemo alright. With Saturdays game being called off that gives Marchand an extra game. He is a big part of this team’s offense and I’m really impressed with his play this year.
Big Jim or anyone
This website has been pretty good in comparison to the others I look at, on occasion. I hope someone does look at updating or running the site. My computer skills are not good enough to maintain it, as well. Many people who contribute to this site read other hockey periodicals, watch other teams than the Bruins, have some knowledge of the Providence Bruins, or are familiar with the history of the Bruins and the NHL. As well, there certainly is multitude of opinions about our past drafts. I sure hope someone takes the job of maintaining and providing articles for this site.
Bruins16,
Perhaps I will look into it. Unfortunately I have an actual job and limited computer skills, namely I have no idea about maintaining a website. But I do have opinions. It can’t be that hard though, Haggerty can’t even be bothered to proof read his articles for crying out loud, and he gets paid.
I’m watching MacDermid his first bout. I flip over to the London/Owen Sound OHL game and his younger brother is throwing them. Too funny.
