VANCOUVER — Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, which will be played here at Rogers Arena tomorrow night, is not time for radical changes from what the Bruins have done most of the season to get this close to ultimate glory.
BOSTON – If any member of the Bruins’ roster had the proper training and was then asked to defuse a bomb as the time ticked down toward explosion, you’d want him to be coached by Claude Julien.
BOSTON — Much to the chagrin of my new-found Vancouver readers who were all in a tizzy when they watched Mark Recchi and Milan Lucic both wave their fingers at Vancouver biter Alex Burrows, head coach Claude Julien didn’t condone the actions of his players.
BOSTON — Bruins head coach Claude Julien didn’t want to comment on Vancouver center Maxim Lapierre’s decision to taunt Patrice Bergeron by sticking his fingers in the Bruins center’s face during Saturday night’s Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
VANCOUVER — One night Vancouver forward Alexandre Burrows takes a bite out of Bruins center Patrice Bergeron’s finger, three nights later he takes the bite out of the Bruins with two goals and one assist in a 3-2 overtime win in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
VANCOUVER – It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached just June 1 and Bruins head coach Claude Julien sounds like he’s all ready to give on his putrid power play.
BOSTON — The texts between Bruins head coach Claude Julien and his Vancouver counterpart are going on hiatus for at least the next couple weeks.
BOSTON — After Tyler Seguin scored a goal and an assist, and the Bruins’ power play remained pathetic with an 0-for-4 showing in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final last night, the “Seguinistas” were out in full force demanding the rookie be part of Boston’s man-advantage.
WILMINGTON, Mass. — Bruins head coach Claude Julien knows there’s more to the Tampa Bay Lightning, who Boston will face in the Eastern Conference finals, than just great goaltending from Dwayne Roloson and tons of offensive firepower from Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis.
BOSTON – I’m not sure what Claude Julien’s musical tastes trend toward, although I’m guess the pregame warm-up mix of rap and heavy metal at the TD Garden might not be the first tunes to pop up on his iPod.
BOSTON — The majority of you are still at home putting pins into your Claude Julien voodoo doll even after the team won Game 7 of its Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with Montreal tonight at TD Garden.
BOSTON — Everyone has their favorite Michael Ryder quip.
BOSTON — Bruins head coach Claude Julien has always had kind things to say about the fans of Boston, even as they’ve seemingly been calling for his head from the time he took over the bench in the Hub.
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. — We won’t know until the Bruins play Game 4 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with Montreal Thursday, or even beyond that crucial contest, whether the decision to spend two days in the Adirondacks between games was wise.
Luckily, the motion picture industry was able to provide the Canadian-born 22-year-old with some background on those events long before he arrived at the USA Rink at the Whiteface Lake Placid Olympic Center today.
