For the most part, Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli does not want to comment on negotiations with would-be free agents.
So today while announcing new contracts for Daniel Paille and Chris Bourque, he didn’t offer updates on unrestricted free agents Chris Kelly or Gregory Campbell, or restricted free agent Tuukka Rask.

BOSTON — The Bruins took on the Buffalo Sabres at the TD Garden tonight without veteran defenseman Greg Zanon.
Zanon, who was acquired from Minnesota before the traded deadline, was classified as a healthy scratch.

BOSTON — The Bruins, who debuted two new players Tuesday in their loss to Ottawa, will replace one of those new faces with another newcomer tonight against New Jersey at the TD Garden.
Head coach Claude Julien confirmed that Greg Zanon will be in and Mike Mottau will be the healthy scratch on Boston’s back end.
