WILMINGTON, Mass. — Bruins head coach Claude Julien isn’t itchy to pull the trigger on line changes in the aftermath of his team’s recent 4-4-1 stretch of mediocrity.
Julien instead is emphasizing the need for all 18 skaters and both goaltenders to be better as Boston’s schedule continues to get tougher with a back-to-back this weekend against Pittsburgh and Washington. The Sidney Crosby-less, Jordan Staal-less Penguins visit the TD Garden Saturday afternoon.

BOSTON — The words came out of Nathan Horton and at first they carried an ominous message.
“I’m still trying to get my game back. I obviously don’t feel 100 percent out there,” Horton said after practice Wednesday at TD Garden. “I’m not myself, you know? I’m just trying to get that back. Last game, I thought we played better. Hopefully we can build off it.”

BOSTON – For the first time since Game 3 of last June’s Stanley Cup Final, Bruins forward Nathan Horton is going to get into a game.
The veteran, whose season was ended by a concussion suffered in that pivotal contest, is scheduled to be in the lineup tonight when the Bruins battle Montreal in a preseason game in Halifax, N.S. Horton, who also played through all of last year’s playoffs with a separate shoulder, sat out Boston’s first two preseason games.
