Now that the Bruins have passed the halfway point of their season, it’s time to grade each player before they officially start their second half at home against Ottawa tonight.

Here were are more than a week since Tuukka Rask was pulled in Buffalo, and all the bellyaching over Claude Julien’s juggling of his goaltenders seems like a big waste of energy.

WILMINGTON, Mass. — While the best remedy for whatever was preventing Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask from regaining his fine rookie-year form through the first half of his sophomore season probably was the type of performance he came up with Monday in Toronto, today he was able to get some additional therapy.

The NHL season has crossed the quarter pole, so it’s time to grade each Bruins player before they start the season’s second quarter in Atlanta Sunday night.

Entering the 2010-11 season, the Bruins pretty much knew that they wouldn’t have to sweat over their goaltending. Of course, neither they — nor anyone on the planet Earth — could’ve predicted how great Boston’s puck-stopping was going to be, or who would be the leader in that department.
