lucic has made the differenceif he didnt snap ou of it when he did theyd be golfing right now
give seguin time believe me he will come around hes putting to much preasure on himself still worth the pick hes absorbing to much needs to relax
Once again…..douchebag hockey prevails….Why don’t teams realise that the goons like luc-suc and char-assclown need to be ufc subdued? It would be worth 2 multi-game suspensions to see these no-talents out of the running…FYB
Brought both my older sons to the game tonight from NH. Got great seats at @ $210 apiece plus tax. Paid $25 for parking, $30 for food, $35 for 4 beers, and it was military appreciation night. My eldest son is an inch away from being accepted into the Marines. Bruins were complacent except for the goalie Tukka Rask. No hitting, no skating, little coordination as they seemed to have issues even getting the puck out of their own end, passes were not crisp. Frankly, for military appreciation night, they played like they really didn’t care. My late father used to take me to the old Boston Garden in the days of Orr, Esposito, MacKenzie, Sanderson, Westfall, Hodge, Buycyk, and Casman and Cheevers! That was hockey. The pee wee entertainment showed more intent to win. I am serious, I want a refund of some of my $715 dollar investment. What a joke. What a shame.
How many of us Bruin fans were really looking forward to this off season with the outstanding crop of free agents to had. What a dissapiontment, this being Tuukka’s 1st year starting without a net, Peter Chiarelli did him no favors. All the top liner players out there & Boston can’t land 1? They have both the money & the players to effect a positive change in Boston, & have them a deep playoff team for a good few years into the future. What were the Ranger’s lacking in their playoff run last year? scoring, Problem addressed. What were the Bruin problems during their playoff run? Scoring, Lack of powerplay, & injuries. Injuries cancle out, all teams get them & except for Horton, the Bruins were lucky in that dept. So now were back to scoring. Parise, Semin(still out there) Suter, Jager, Nash, Bobby Ryan, ect. ect. To watch this kind of talent go every where but Boston is extreamly disheartening. The salery cap is not the issue. There are ways to make the numbers work. How much longer must we suffer through a lack of powerplay? It hasnt been right since we lost Savard. So now we have to hope Rask gets off to a good start or else we may wittness a “crisis of confidence” Tim wont be there to talk him off the edge. Horton, I like everyone else is skeptical he can make it through a complete season & a playoff run, & if he can how long will it take him to get back into the flow of the game? We all remember Burgy’s 1st year back from a bad concussion, not very productive. Wich Milan Lucic will decide to show up? The Lucic that gets engaged early in the 1st period & ends up being a difference maker in said gane, or the Lucic who continues to be un-engaged in many reg. season games, & again failed to show up against the Caps. This is not the same Milan Lucic that will put opposing players through garden glass. If he’s not going to be a physical player & clean out players in the offensive zone, then he’s a reg 25-30 goal a player. He needs to be a presence on the ice. Watching Dustin Brown play against Phoenix in last years playoffs remimded me of the kind of player lucic can & needs to be. Last but not least, David Krejic, his play last year speaks for itself. So here’s to hoping everything falls into place in the goal scoring dept. & Tuukka dosnt feel like he cant make a mistake game after game. Thomas was old enough to handle that kind of pressure, with age comes the ability to belive in yourself. Confidence problems usually come with younger players. Thanks again Peter & welcome to todays NHL, I dont happen to agree with or like it, but unless your ready to go 7-10 years with 70-95 million for the top tier players, you’ll constantly be playing from behind in the scoring dept. looking for the diamond in the ruff. or players having career years. wouldnt be nice for once for other teams to have worry about shutting down big time players? & wich one? 20 goal scorers are great, but unless the go on a tear, im not altering my game. Here’s to hoping im wrong.
Matt, isn’t it about time that the media, You, KPD, and Fluto confine your comments to hockey, and the performance of the players?
The Boston Pruins.
plop-plop-plop-
What a dirty team.
Hopefully one of the bruins will get a puck in the face and take out an eye.
One can only hope.
Luchic is turning into a REAL GOON.
Wow, sure must be proud of that.
Matt – Crazy new format! I like it – but I’m sure you’re still working out the kinks.
One Comment about… well, comments. I check your page throughout the day looking both for new posts, but also for new comments on the strings I’m interested in. Do you think you could continue to list the number of comments and a link to them in this format. I’ll bet others would appreciate it also.
Keep up the good work, brother – Grant – er.. Bojangles.
