Yukster

I agree with you on Hamill, but lets give Caron some games and see how he does. His training camp was pretty good and he has shown some grit at times.

Big Jim

I think Caron's defense is better than you give him credit, and hopefully he's more consistent in his physical play. (He needs to be a "K-Mart Lucic" to really help the club) We are in agreement on Hamill.

Let's hope some of these second rounders start hitting. Hamill and Caron are pure misses under Chiarelli. Good thing Peter knows how to make trades and his free agents.

i don't disagree with that, but it isn't saying much. caron may be willing to take a hit but he doesn't do much else. hamill on the other hand is simply not any good.

Big Jim

Caron will not be a top six forward, but he certainly is a couple of up-ticks from Zach Hamill. Also, he will take a check to make a play, hit an opposing player, and get in front of the net. He does play like a BRUIN, but he should be stronger on his skates and have few less brain cramps along the boards.

Putting back the red line slows the game down. Allowing obstruction slows the game down. I'm so sorry I connected the dots on that one.

Head injuries have been happening since forever, not since the lockout.
Francis, Kariya, Lafontaine, both Lindroses, Svoboda, Courtnall etc etc have been retired due to persistent concussion symptoms.

Speaking of strawmen, I never said the equipment was the only problem. I merely pointed out that it was something that could actually be implemented.

Pierre

Whitney yes, but Ruttu I'm not so sure about. I still think we need a d-man. Imagine if Chara or Sidenberg or Boychuk goes out with an injury for a couple of weeks.
